Is it summer yet!?

As the weather starts to turn to a colder and dimmer environment, it’s got us imagining what a brighter and more inviting home would look like. Where would we like to be? There's More to a Floor

The kitchen is the heart of the home; it’s where you cook, gather, and eat together. With all its frequent use it may be in need of updating. One thing you may consider is changing your kitchen flooring.  Now a days we have access to a plethora of materials whether it be cork, rubber, or wood. FALLING INLOVE WITH FALL

It’s about that time where the trees are going to start changing, the weather cooling down, and we’ll begin staying indoors a whole lot more. Cider will be brewing, fires roasting, and snuggling will be had! With the eminent coming of winter I think it is the perfect time to make small changes to your home in preparation for staying indoors. Here are a few interior design suggestions on getting ready for the chilly season. Just like fashion, color schemes change from season to season.

Paintings on the Wall

One of the questions we always get asked here at Design Group is “What kind of artwork should I get for this room?” There is never really a clear answer for this because art is very personal. It’s supposed to evoke feeling in a person when you look at it. The colors strikes you in a particular way, the lines move your eye around the canvas, and the imagery tells you a familiar tale. One thing we always tell our clients is not to purchase a piece of artwork because it would match the paint on the wall, choose a piece that makes you feel good; something you will like to look at every day.
